Born from a multicultural miscegenation, Eijah long find within her background and history her inspiration. Her legacy is a really huge melting pot with a mixture of Norman, West Indian, Indian, Vietnamese, Corsican and Spanish. Her passion for fashion is a direct legacy from her grand-mother, Jeanne, a west Indian dissenter came from her beloved Martinique during World War 2 to free the occupied France. As a young girl Elijah spend the most part of her free time with her grand- mother, loving to hear her relate her past as a military. The military ornamentation is the trademark of “les coquettes rient”. Elijah’s dedicating is brand and collection to her grand-mother Jeanne, who has learned her the secret of coquetry. |
